What to include in your request
We can put your quote together faster when we know these five things. Rough estimates are fine, since we can adjust the numbers together before anything is final.
- Location: MIA1 or MIA2 in Miami, FLL1 in Fort Lauderdale, ATL1 in Atlanta, or CHI1 in Chicago.
- Space: a 1/4 rack, 1/2 rack, full cabinet, cage, or private suite.
- Power: how many circuits you need. Options run from a single 20 amp 110 volt circuit up to 50 amp and 220 volt circuits.
- Bandwidth: your expected commit, from 1 Mbps to 50 Mbps or more. Ask about 95th percentile billing if your traffic spikes.
- Cross connects: how many direct links you need to carriers or partners in the building. Our cross connect options page explains how they work.
Still planning the move? Our colocation checklist covers what to sort out before you ship equipment. If you are comparing data center designs, the ANSI/TIA-942 standard is a useful reference.
