Set Payments is a feature available to users with full access or those holding a role with billing access in the Volico customer portal. This functionality allows users to manage their payment methods, set a default card for payments, and configure specific cards for various services. To access this feature, follow the steps outlined below:

Accessing Set Payments

  1. Log In to the MyVolico Customer Portal: To use the Set Payments feature, the user must log in to their Volico account. You will need to have the necessary access permissions, such as being a super user or having an accounting role.

  2. Navigate to the Billing Dropdown (On Desktop): Once logged in, access the billing options by clicking on the "Billing" dropdown menu. This menu is typically located in the navigation bar on the desktop version of the portal.


    Navigate to the Billing Dropdown (On Mobile): Once logged in, access the billing options by clicking on the menu at the top right of the screen where your name is displayed.

    Select Set Payments: From the menu, click on the "Set Payments" option. This will take you to the Set Payments page.

Managing Payment Methods

On the Set Payments page, users can perform the following actions:

1. Setting a Default Payment Card

Users can specify a default payment card to use for billing. This is especially useful if the user has multiple payment cards on file. To set a default payment card:

a. Access the Set Payments page.

b. Look for the option to designate a default card and select the desired card.

c. After selecting the desired card click on Set Default

2. Configuring Payment Cards for Specific Services

Users can also assign specific payment cards to individual services. This allows for flexibility in managing payments for different services associated with the Volico account. To configure payment cards for services:

a. Access the Set Payments page.

b. Look for the option to set per service payment method for services.

c. You will be presented with a list of services.

d. Choose the payment card you wish to use for the selected service.

e. After selecting the desired card click on Update service(s)

f. This will update the payment method selected for each service. If a payment method was not selected for a service, this service will use the default payment method on file.


By following these steps, users can effectively manage their payment methods and ensure that the appropriate payment card is used for each service within their MyVolico account.
