  1. Ensure that you are listed as the Primary Contact, typically the account owner or you are a super user.
    1. Without either of these you will be unable to access the page to submit a request.
  2. Log in to your MyVolico account.MyVolico Login
  3. Navigate to the menu at the top right where the user's name is displayed

Contact Access


  1. Select "Contact Access."


Adding or Updating Contacts

  1. Access the page and choose an existing contact or add a new contact from the dropdown.

  2. Required fields for new or existing contacts:

    • Email (This will be used for the user's login)
    • Title (What you would like to list them as on the account
    • User's mobile number
    • Permission level (What access they would  have, support, cloud access, accounting, super user, etc.)
    • The contact (employees) ID, if you are submitting a datacenter access request
  3. Options:

    • Select to add or update contact with datacenter access. (This option will only be available when you have devices within the datacenter.)
    • Authorize as a contact on the account.

Datacenter Access Submission

  1. Upon submitting a valid form with datacenter access selected:
  2. You will be directed to a verification page with a QR code.

      

  1. Scan the QR code with your mobile device, provide access to your camera, and:
    • Take a selfie.
    • Provide an image of the user's ID (front).
    • Provide an image of the user's ID (back).

Confirmation Page

  1. After completion, you will be directed to a thank-you page.
    • If you are the primary contact:

      • The contact will be created.
      • The contact will receive an email with instructions for password and two-factor authentication setup for their Myvolico account.
      • A ticket will be created requesting datacenter access.
    • If you are a super user (not the primary contact):

      • A page will inform you that the primary contact has been notified about your request.
      • The request will expire in 24 hours and needs to be recreated otherwise.
      • An email will be sent to the primary contact.
      • The primary contact will have the option to approve or deny the request.
        • When approved:
          • The contact will be created.
          • A ticket will be created requesting datacenter access for the authorized contact

Submission Without Datacenter Access

  1. Upon submitting a valid form without datacenter access:
    • If you are the primary contact, the contact will automatically be approved and created.
      • The contact will receive an email with instructions for password and two-factor authentication setup for their Myvolico account.
    • If you are a super user (not the primary contact):
      • A page will inform you that the primary contact has been notified about your request.
      • The request will expire in 24 hours and needs to be recreated otherwise.
      • An email will be sent to the primary contact.
      • The primary contact will have the option to approve or deny the request.
        • When approved:
          • The contact will be created.
          • A ticket will be created requesting datacenter access for the authorized contact
