Why Is Submitting to 10,000+ Search Engines Each Month a Bad Thing?

If you're on this page then i'm sure you've recieved one of those e-mails or ads claiming to bring you millions of hits in traffic by submitting you to thousands of search engines, and not only that, to submit you each and every month so that they can charge a monthly fee for this service. Do you want to know the real truth?

There are less than 20, count'em, 20 search engines/directories on the Internet that produce 99% of all traffic generated by search engines on the Internet. And of those 20 only 7 might possibly need to be submitted to, and of those 7, 5 will even find your website without you ever submitting to them! And on top of that, after you are found or submit once, you will NEVER NEED TO SUBMIT TO THEM AGAIN !

How Is this Possible You Say? Especially When So Many Companies Offer Monthly Search Engine Submissions?

Its rather simple actually, and easy for everyone to understand, they are con-artists no better than the "Enlarge Your Genitals" Spammers that clog up your Inbox, or the "Free Money" or "Your the 500,000th visitor claim your prize" ads. They are taking your money and providing 0, and I literally mean 0 benefit in return.

You want proof? - There is a reason search engines are called "Crawlers", they crawl the Internet. They do not even need you to EVER submit to them in order for them to find your website, and once they do, they'll keep it in their index for as long as the site is active. Not only that, but they will update it regularly, sometimes even daily, for FREE. Why? Because search engines want to be the best at what they do, and in order to do that they want to index as many websites as possible, and refresh them as often as possible so that they have the most relevant information about the web pages they are showing in their search results.
